MOFA Minister Joseph Wu recently invited ambassadors and representatives from 34 countries stationed in #Taiwan on an industrial visit spotlighting #SmartTech applications by businesses in #Tainan and #Kaohsiung from November 20-21.
Minister Wu stated that he hoped the representatives would act as bridges for international cooperation between Taiwan and their respective countries in smart industries, as well as the arts.
Tainan and Kaohsiung are centers for innovation in industry and both are set to play important roles with the restructuring of #GlobalSupplyChains.
As well as touring a wide range of companies and experiencing smart applications for themselves, the delegation attended the 2020 Concert of the Presidential Office at the Weiwuying National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, where they got to hear indigenous choral music and symphony performances, and engaged in exchange with the mayors of both cities.
